Understanding The Stages Of Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a painful experience for many women. Here at the Endometriosis Centre, our one aim is to help our patients with treating this disease and reduce the pain from all stages of Endometriosis.

We understand the worries that come with regards to the disease and want to ensure that you are treated with care and compassion. Many women suffer with the disease for lengthy periods of time before having the proper testing to determine the condition.

The disease comes in four stages; ranging from minimal to severe. These stages are determined by the recurrence of the symptoms, as some may be more apparent than others during a certain stage.

With so many different genetic codes, Endometriosis can affect many women in various ways. The symptoms that may occur in one woman may not be seen in another. With so many symptoms that can be mistaken for other illnesses, it is important that you have an idea of these different signs to help you recover.

Endometriosis can cause pelvic pain, increased period pain and discomfort when passing stools or urine. This can also lead to infertility. That is why we want to help you as soon as possible before the severity of the pain increases.
